We had such a fun Thanksgiving just the two of us! We cooked our turkey Hawaiian style-underground. It's called an Emu. We put it in the pit at 4:30pm Wednesday, then went and got it Thanksgiving Morning. It was quite delicious!! We(well, really me) made the rest of the dishes-- mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, homemade rolls, pumpkin pie, and of course YAMS. Bryan's favorite dish. I hate them, but he LOVES them, so I made them for him. This is just a video of the food we made, and Bry carving the Turkey. He as so proud. Later that night we went and saw the Blind Side, which was really good.
I got pretty sick over the Thanksgiving break, it really sucked. Bryan ended up taking me to the Hospital on Sunday, and basically I have an ear infection. But it's turned into so much more, now I'm dizzy and nauseous. I'm blaming it on the dang pigs. I did get my h1n1 shot, so it can't be.. hmm... anyway, my point of this story was to say how thankful I am for Bryan, and for taking care of me during me everlasting sick days!! <3
School's almost over thank goodness!! Only a couple more weeks and then it's Christmas!! Yay!!! My family is coming out here, so we're so excited! it'll be party time.
